HORSEBACK ARCHERY:
CONTROLLING
THE GALLOP
OF A ΒΙΤLESS YOUNG STALLION
Theocharis, eleven year old,
is already a very capable horse rider, show jumper (1.10m) and Horseback
Archer. He rides many horses but his favorite horse is Sepp, a powerful young
stallion stronger, more than thirty times of his rider. The stallion prefers full
gallop anytime and the little boy pays special attention to control his
horse in order to clear safely fences or shooting correct his arrows when Horseback Archery. This is
very critical during all training sessions because this horse feels very …fresh not only by its
nature but also after some periods closed in its box. Meanwhile, Theocharis and Sepp work bitless, as this is one of the basic rules of "Greek Centaurs" Horseback Archery School. Today,
after two and a half months of quarantine because of Covid-19, Theocharis and
Sepp start to cooperate in Horseback Archery and let’s enjoy how Theocharis
asked his horse to control his speed in order to achieve good shootings. Not so
bad for a boy eleven year old shooting his arrows in the middle of the target while galloping.
Thank you Master Kassai Lajos for all those you offered to us!
